One of the most successful systems by KS is the SAT – a concept which has been developed nearly 30 years ago, was often copied and nowadays represents the embodiment of a small PA with active mono-subwoofer. For all users who are looking for the sound of a good HiFi system, who need the transmission audibility of a PA and whose audience mainly consists of a few hundred people we have now created the new SAT3 – a dream come true!

The tops are the C 1, passive systems which are unique sound rein­force­ment systems for speech and music with regard to their compact­ness and trans­mission quality. Due to the HDSP-principle the driver/horn combination offers (under all angles an equally) good frequency response up to 19kHz. The 10″ low-mid woofer is equipped with an extremely strong ND-drive and provides a high load capacity of the 3″ voice coil. The chassis is made of PU-coated multiplex boards with stand flange, threads, protective grating, molded recesses and large ventilation ports. In/out SPEAKON NL4.

The active subwoofer of the SAT3 is the CB18, a vented design with an 18″ ND chassis with a 4″ voice coil. The 1200W chassis offers a completely distortion-free transmission even of sublows.
The 2000Wrms DSP controller amplifier is countersunk in the woofer casing in such a way that on the one it provides an easily accessible inclined front plate without protruding control elements and on the other hand it guarantees an unimpeded cooling of the three 2-canal power amplifiers.Here, KS complied with the request of many users to dispense with an active cooling in order to avoid disturbing fan noises.

Similar to all KS systems the chassis is made of birch multiplex boards, which is unsusceptible to mechanical and chemical impacts. Moulded recesses, a stand flange with M20 thread, stacking feet, protective grating and optionally a transport protection cover with rolls are further features of this premium product.
